April Prayer Circle--------The two shall become one!

Today there are many women in marriages that are not ordained by God or is being strangled by the devil. Covering the pain and unhappiness so that your life can seem as normal as possible. Why should you have to live not close to half of what God wants for you?
Hey wives, you need to understand that whatever God is for, the devil is against, and one key example is MARRIAGE. The devil either is preventing you from finding your spouse or if you have, his goal becomes to break the bond so that there is no power in your union. You also need to understand that the union of marriage is beyond the superficial necessities. It is a spiritual authority over the devil, meaning the unity in marriage can overcome the Devil's plans and also activate anything requested from heaven. In Matthew 18:19, Jesus said "if two on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven". Well now you know why things may not be happening; you may not be in agreement with you spouse.
This makes it absolutely important to maintain unity and bond to have a successful life being married. We all know sometimes the devil may attack the most vulnerable spouse to create chaos. Every issue in a marriage is an attack on your union as a result of our limitations. We all have limitations or weaknesses but the goal in a marriage should be to grow and overcome those limitations, and we can only do that through fervent prayer and the willingness to grow.
Praying for yourself last month was your way of inviting God in to help you become a better person for your spouse or spouse-to-be. Now it's time to pray for your spouse.
APRIL - Pray For Your Spouse
This month is all about your partner! Yes there has to be a change with your current situation, whether you have found your better half or not, these prayer points apply to him wherever. " He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord" Proverb 18: 22. Is your spouse obtaining favor from God? If not, pray! There are many areas we can focus on this month as we pray, but here are a few areas you can begin with.
Pray for a man in God's image and character- There is nothing better than a godly husband. He doesn't have to be religious but has a real connection with God and depends on him for possibilities in his life. Many times egos get in the way of men surrendering fully to God's will. Unless your spouse is connected to Christ as the head of him, and depends on his instructions, he can not be a proper head to you, nor can he love you like Christ loves the church. Leading you will be difficult because he will have no real directions.
Pray for the work his hands and desires- God promises to bless the work of our hands and gives us our heart desires. For the duty of man is to work and provide for his family, and for his toils to not be useless, wives have to pray that his works yield abundance. If you're not praying for the success of your husband, you are actually not being a helpmeet to him at all. A husband with abundance relieves his wife of work and allows her to function in her capacity and calling.
Pray for emotional healing for your spouse- Men are not good in expressing or dealing with emotions as we are and they tend to file a lot of emotions away for later, but that doesn't make it go away. It will be difficult for a man who has not healed or dealt with issues affecting him emotionally to love you fully. Not praying for your spouse in this area will rob you of deep connections in your marriage. Emotional brokenness in any area of your life will rob you of the fullness of life you deserve.
Pray for deliverance from ungodly situations (addictions, adultery,etc)- Every act outside the character of God is a weakness the devil will continue to use against your spouse to destroy your togetherness. Unless he can overcome it, you will stand divided and ineffective. Instead of nagging, go on your knees.

God approves the union of man and woman - Genesis 2:18
Two are better than one - Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
There is extra favor in marriage - Proverb 18:22
Marriage is an unbreakable bond - Mark 10:8-9
Marriage gives you authority over satan - Matthew 18:19
Remember when you pray:
Confess your sins to God - 1John 1:9
Ask and it will be given - Matthew 7:7
Forgive when you pray - Mark 11:25
Believe when you pray - Mark 11:24
"Unless the Lord builds the house, the builder labors in vain". We need God in our homes now more than ever and praying intentionally for your spouse will break chains, reveal destinies, and make him a better leader for you.
