My life's journey has been one of self-discovery, personal, professional, and spiritual growth. I have a growth mindset! This means my mind is constantly thinking of ways I can be a better version of myself or do things in a better way. It means I hold myself accountable, I am a self-starter and self-motivated. It also means I strongly desire others around me to grow as well. Whether it is personally, professionally, or spiritually, I find joy in helping others discover their potential and grow into the person they were destined to be.

My background is in Public Health and I have many years of Public Health practice working for the State of Minnesota and other Non-profit organizations but my most cherished moments were mentoring the youth in my community and coaching women in my community into their next big goal. My love for organizing people and coaching them to achieving set goals led me into the technology field where there is a high need for companies to drive projects, and for teams building products and achieving companies goals.

 

I'm sure you're wondering why l left Public Health for Technology. Many years ago I made up my mind at a Public Health conference that I would be a funder for Public Health initiatives because of the need and disparities in the minority communities and the funding restrictions that came with the fundings. Today I am happy to say that God has led my family to starting a foundation (AllensCare) that funds many Public Health initiatives in areas such as, Maternal health, Education, Youth Mentoring, and Environmental Health, in and out of the U.S with us being the single donor for these initiatives at this time.

God has also called me in righteousness and has commissioned me to be a light for women, to open the eyes of the blind, to free the captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness, Isaiah 42:6-7. This deliverance is done through intercession, teaching, and writing. This led to the birth of Woman of Purpose, and this ministry is still becoming and the Lord is leading.
